'The Nepal SGI Times' first english edition monthly newsletter on Human and Social development on January 2009. Congratulations to all our readers on the publicationof our first monthly newsletter ´The NSGI Times´ in english.

Since January 1, 1995 Nepal SGI has been publishing ´Himalayan Peace´, a monthly magazine in Nepali to deepen the understanding of Nichiren Daishonin´s Buddhism in Nepal. With support and encouragement from our members, we are now able to further efforts for Kosen Rufu by publishing a monthly newsletter in English for human and social development, ´The Nepal SGI Times´ from January 2009.

We sincerely hope that this will strengthen Kosen Rufu in Nepal and I´m sure it will be an inspiration to the readers to widen the circle of understanding. SGI President Ikeda has said that a Soka Gakkai newspaper should be; - a newspaper dedicated to Kosenrufu. - the newspaper that helps people to understand the teaching of Nichiren Daishonin. - a newpaper that serves as a letter of encouragement that gives hope and courage to it´s readers. With his guidances as our driving force, let us embark ourselves on the journey of Kosenrufu based on the philosophy of life as taught by the Daishonin with a strong life force & energy.
