Nepal SGI Men Division held their 9th commemorative meeting with the participation of more than 75 members at Nepal SGI Peace Centre in Kathmandu. 4 members enthusiastically attended the meeting all the way from Pokhara (200 Km west from the Kathmandu)
If we are to advance in unity, it is vital that we maintain a lasting commitment to the spirit of oneness of mentor and disciple. Based on the essence of mentor and disciple relationship, the theme for this year was declared "Let's live out our lives together with our mentor for the great and noble cause of Kosenrufu"
Mr. Saroj Thapa Kshetri and Mr. Mohan Dawadee shared their experiences which was very much encouraging. Men Division Vice Chief, Mr. Krishna Dawadee, described about the essence of mentor and disciple relationship in Buddhism. Men Division Chief Mr. Sagar Thapa encouraged everyone and stressed that practice must go hand in hand with study. He emphasized in the two ways of practice and study. Without practice and study, there can be no Buddhism. Besides, the cultural programs, poem was recited by the men division members.
