What Peace Means to Me” – Art Exhibition

Nepal SGI has organized exhibition entitled “What Peace Means to Me” at the Nepal SGI Peace Centre premises, Kalanki, Kathmandu on January 5, 2019. General Director of Nepal SGI Dr. Krishna Sharma inaugurated the exhibition where more than 100 members enthusiastically viewed the beautiful artworks of building peace.

The exhibition is simply a beautiful creation of children where they painted and share their message of peace, their dreams of better world and understanding of different culture.

Nepal SGI has also published the weekly peace quote calendar on that very day. The calendar has beautiful artworks  that are exhibited is a compilation of inspiring quotes of SGI president Daisaku Ikeda and many other peace builders. The weekly peace quote calendar and a certificate of participation were conferred to 50 participants of the exhibition where 56 paintings were kept for viewing.

            Art Division Chief Mr. Bijen Raj Shrestha said that the exhibition will tour in different schools this year to spread the message of peace and the concept of a beautiful and sacred life.
